The QSI group · Inspection and laboratory

Measurement and inspection, in the group.

Beyond certification, the QSI group carries inspection and laboratory capability. Inspection is delivered as a service today. Nexus Labs, the group laboratory, is operational and accredited. Accreditation as an inspection body under ISO/IEC 17020 is a separate programme and is in development. This page states what exists and what is being built, nothing more.

Inspection bodies · ISO/IEC 17020

The standard inspection runs on.

ISO/IEC 17020 is the international standard for bodies performing inspection. It sets the requirements an inspection body must meet: impartiality, competence of inspectors, defined inspection methods, and reporting that a buyer or regulator can rely on.

QSI's inspection-body programme operates under the group's development roadmap. It is listed, with the other programmes in development, on the future programmes page.

Nexus Labs mark

Nexus Labs.

Nexus Labs is the measurement house of the QSI group, operating laboratory testing and calibration to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 under Saudi Accreditation Center accreditation, certificates N-C-00592 and N-T-00607. Scopes, methods, disciplines and sample submission live on the laboratory's own site.

Certification and testing stay separate by design. Nexus Labs reports what it measures; QSI Cert audits and decides independently, and treats a Nexus report the way it treats any other accredited laboratory report. The group shares a standard of rigour, never a shortcut.
